What is Train Acres?

Train Acres is a miniature railway created by two Lacombe County residents that were directly influenced by their grandson's care at a Canadian children's hospital. This had a profound effect on the developer’s life and as a result they wanted to find a way to give back to the children's hospitals of Alberta. What resulted, was a dream to build a miniature railway on their property that could be used as a fundraising device for the Stollery and Alberta Children's Hospital Foundations. The year 2025 marks the first annual fundraiser for these causes and it will be held on September 6th and 7th.
